Compassion Ministry
The Market provides non-perishable food and household items for single adults and families. This ministry provides a wonderful opportunity to serve directly with those in need in our community. Market workers assist our guests with shopping, offer prayer and as opportunities arise, share the gospel.
Serving Times
Minimum one shift per month
Most shifts are Sunday afternoons, Monday mornings, and Monday afternoons

Hope Meals lightens the burden of meal planning and preparation for those individuals or families in our church experiencing a crisis or an especially difficult set of circumstances. We provide meals prepared by a dedicated team of volunteers as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ for His glory.
To serve families in need of a meal we prepare meals, pray for those receiving the meals, and include a card or note of encouragement. You will be notified of the current needs as they arise.

Connections
Our Communion Stagers work as a team to help prepare the elements before all communion services, serve to some areas of the Worship Centre as needed, and clean up the prep area after all services.
Serving Times: Sunday 7am, or 8:45am, 10:30am or 3:30pm (all teams will help prepare the elements before the service).

If you love people and want to serve the Lord by welcoming people to weekend services, and assisting them as they arrive, you need to be a part of our Welcome Team! Welcoming people in our parking lot, at our doors, at Connections, or into the Worship Centre, our awesome team of volunteers serve on a one-out-of-four week rotation on Sundays. If you’re interested in hearing more, we would love to hear from you!

Hope Kids
Early Childhood workers provide care and spiritual direction to children during weekend services, as well as creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirement to Serve
- AGE: 11+ (age 11-13, parent must serve alongside).
- Attend Hope for minimum of six months.
- Police vulnerable sector screening background check if 16 and up.
- Step 1 and Step 2
Provide care and discipleship for children in grades 2-5 with Christ-like love and attention.
Requirements for Serving
- High School age minimum
- Step 1 and Step 2
- Family Ministry Application
- Police Check which includes vulnerable sector screening
Our Hope Kids Accessibility team cares for children from birth through grade five in our ministry with various diagnosis' during the 9am service on Sundays. This is a great opportunity to get to know a child in our ministry as you serve with them as their one-on-one buddy. Buddies go with each child through Hope Kids as we help each child have access to learning about the gospel of Christ.

- Six months attendance

Providing care and spiritual direction to children in the Nursery (children 0-2 years old) during weekend services.
Requirements to Serve
- Age 18+ (to serve with crawlers)

Hosting Hope Kids Camp requires over 200 volunteers and we would love to have you be part of our team if Hope is your home church!
Hospitality
Hospitality Volunteers
The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to create Christ-centered serving opportunities by coming alongside the other ministries of Hope Bible Church. There are a number of different areas within the Hospitality Ministry where our volunteers can be involved. Whether that is serving in the cafe, baking, preparing breakfasts & dinners, food prep or serving at events, our volunteers have many opportunities to share the love of Christ with the people of this church.

Production
Photographer/Videographer
We are looking for photographers and videographers of all skill levels to capture the life of our church. There are many ways you can serve with a camera including weekends, church events, conferences, parent commissioning, etc. If you love to take photos or video or want to grow in these skills, we want to talk to you! No personal gear required.
Requirements to Serve

Operate a studio camera during the weekend services, events, and conferences.

Oversee production elements for overflow in the youth worship centre for all three weekend services. The Weekend Overflow Tech will be in charge of all audio, video, and lighting needs for our overflow room in the Youth Worship Room. Training is provided.

Operations
Those on this team will be asked to help with various set-up, tear down, building repairs, and maintenance.

Prayer
We are building a team that will serve our church body and beyond by praying for their needs and requests.
Serving times: Prayer team meets Mondays at the church from 1pm to 3pm. Schedule for during service prayer, Sundays at 8:30am, 10:15am, 12pm, and 5pm services.

Youth
Lead a small group of students of the same gender/grade following the teaching portion of our youth evening sessions and main sessions during retreats. Actively participate during youth events and retreats with your small group of students.
Serving Times: Youth Ministry takes place Wednesday nights from 6:15-8:30pm. Events are the third Friday of October, February, May, and June. Retreats take place in the Fall and Winter for JR High youth.

Hope Youth Check-In desk involves signing in students for the first time or helping those that have forgotten their key fobs. You will walk each first-time guest through a short registration form, enter them into the computer, and finish with providing them names tags and direction to the youth room.
Serving Times: Hope Youth Registration team serves weekly or bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 6:20-8:20PM.
