Global Missions

The Missions ministry at Hope Oakville is committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations. "And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20

We fulfill this mission in three distinct ways:

  • We support PEOPLE in the traditional missionary work of sharing the Good News.
  • We work with PARTNERS to train, equip, and send out disciples to all nations.
  • We PLANT churches who then do #1 and #2.

Families Serving in Central Asia
We do not list the names or locations of families serving in Central Asia, as the nature of their ministry is such that even the mention of their names could put them and their ministry in jeopardy.

The “M” Family
Working in a closed Muslim country, this family's focus is on Bible translation and encouragement to the small Christian population in their area as well as building relationships with Muslim nationals.

The “D” Family
This family's work in Muslim nations is some of the hardest spiritual ground on the planet. In such a potentially dangerous place, they make it their aim to boldly share the Gospel with the rural population.
