Hope Bible Church,
There is so much happening as Jesus continues to build His church! Be sure to take extended time this week to thank the Lord for His work among us; and to ask Him to continue to build His Church for His glory. Here’s a snapshot…

SATURDAY SERVICE

Please pray for the preparation of your own heart as we gather for worship this weekend; and ask the Lord to move powerfully in the heart of each person worshipping with us. Also, be in prayer for whom you can invite to hear the good news of the gospel.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) Hope Prays
A house of prayer is a house that sees their need for prayer and comes alongside each other in prayer. As Elders, it is a privilege and joy for us to pray for you. In lieu of our Connection Cards, please be sure to submit your prayer requests and praise reports via the “Hope Prays” link on our website; which can be found here.

2) Hope Youth
This week, Hope Youth will be joining the rest of the church for our Church-Wide prayer night!

We also have a Hope Youth playlist on Spotify that can be accessed anytime. You can subscribe to the playlist here. Go Lord!

3) Church-Wide Prayer Night (March 22 @7:30pm-9:00pm)
The Lord calls His Church to be a house of prayer for all nations. Come and join us at our next church-wide prayer night as we call on the Name of the Lord together. Our theme for this night is, “The One To Whom God Looks” from Isaiah 66:1-2. Come Lord!

4) Easter at Hope
We are looking forward to remembering Christ’s death and celebrating His resurrection at our Good Friday and Easter services this year. Lord willing, our services will be taking place as follows…

Good Friday Service: April 7 @ 2:30pm-4:00pm
Easter Celebration Service: April 8 @ 5:00pm-6:30pm

There will be invites available for you at our services. Please prayerfully consider who you will invite to join us. Go Lord!

5) Discover Hope Step 2 (May 7 @ 1-4pm)
Are you looking into making Hope Ottawa your home church? Want to find out more about the beliefs, leadership and mission of the church? Want to get plugged into a small group and a service team? Then be sure to sign up for our next Discover Hope Step 2 class! This two-part class will be happening online from 1pm-3pm on March 5 and March 19. You can sign up on our website at www.hopeottawa.ca/discover2. We look forward to seeing you!

6) Serving at Hope
It is a privilege to worship the Lord through service in the church. The ministries at Hope are growing and we need volunteers to faithfully step in to meet the needs! We have needs in our Welcome, Hope Kids, Production and Set-Up/Tear Down ministries. Visit our website here to fill out an application and get plugged in today. Please email llau@hopeottawa.ca with any questions you may have. We look forward to serving with you!

7) Hope Gives
Thank you for your continued giving to the work of the Lord as an act of worship. Our fiscal year runs from September 1 and will continue until August 31, 2023. If you call Hope Ottawa your home church and are not already giving regularly, we encourage you to start giving cheerfully and sacrificially as the Lord leads. If you are already giving, we thank you for this. You can continue giving your tithes and offerings through our online giving platform here. Thank you for your faithfulness.

It is our joy and privilege to continue to care for you in this season. We would love to know how we could be caring for you prayerfully and practically as needed. Pastor Ray and Kevin are on their way to Romania! Please remember to keep them in your prayers. Here are a number of specific ways that we as the church can be praying for them.

Hope Family,

What a joy it has been, and continues to be to see the work of the Lord in His church. From Hope Kids to Hope Youth and beyond that in our small groups and services, the Lord is doing a great work for His glory. Keep praying fervently Loved Ones! He is faithful!
