Hope Missions 2021 Initiative
Hope Missions 2021 is a year-long initiative for our church to learn more about our Canadian and global partnerships. As we hear about how God is using us in these stories, we will have the opportunity to respond. We will update this page with videos, giving opportunities, and other resources to make 2021 a year of looking up!
If you sense that the Lord may be leading you to a life of long term international mission service please let us know. We would love to discern God's call on your life with you. Prayerfully consider joining an upcoming Missions Sending Accelerator class taught by a missionary couple and designed to move you further along the path towards missionary service. The Hamers
Tim and Karla Hamer have been a part of our church family for the last 16 years, both having also served on staff in recent years. As Director of Missions and Compassion Ministries, Tim's role grew our partnerships and relationships with local and global missionaries, churches, and organizations. As our Nursery Coordinator, Karla's work with the Hope Kids team cared for hundreds of families in our church during those early years of parenthood.
After much prayer and fasting, Tim and Karla are answering the Lord's call to move into new roles with Reaching & Teaching International Ministries. Hear more from them about how you can support their family as they care for pastors and missionaries in difficult contexts.
Pray for the Hamers
• Wisdom and discernment as Tim and Karla get to know many missionaries and pastors over the coming months.
• Provision from the Lord for funding their ministry.
